The Bucket List: Londoners get cluckin’ because a fried chicken weekend fest is hitting Kerb in May.

Street food connoisseurs Kerb have just announced that they will be bringing together London’s best bird friers for a finger lickin’ chicken fest of debauched #foodporn amazingness.

Take my money right now we hear you scream. Hold up, you’ll have to wait until the evening of May 5, and all day on May 6, to get your clucktastic hands on their meat.

So where’s it all taking place? Meat fiends will have to go to Kerb’s Kings Cross gaff to try the traders signature and special takes on the capital’s fried favs. Once there, your ticket allows you to try one portion of chicken from each of the eight food stalls (yes, eight!) At the end, you can vote for your favourite so they can enter Kerb’s Bucket List Hall of Fame!

Who’s there? Those competing to be the King’s and Queen’s of chicken include experts, Mother Clucker, spicy nut jobs Other Side Fried, Bill or Beak and Killa, as well as boneless thigh masters Daja Chicken. If you love a bit of jerk, Only Jerkin’ will be serving up jerk chicken nuggets triple-dipped in ginger beer batter and if you’ve got a soft spot for Korean flavours Mother Flipper will be cooking up some Korean-style wings. The South East Cakery will also be serving super sweet sundaes for dessert.

And because it’s Kerb, expect lots of booze (craft beers!), amazing tunes and sexy people. Oh, and there’ll also be random robo-chicken racing too.

Let’s wing it.

The event runs from 6-11pm on Friday May 5 and from both 12-5pm and 6-11pm on Saturday May 6. Tickets are available now.
