The soothing dulcet tones of the nation’s favourite naturalist will be the background to a huge rave at Oval Space on April 20th.
Samples of his voice will be mixed in with a selection of the freshest house, disco, funk and soul tunes.
The Hackney venue will be transformed into a magical rainforest by Good Life, a creative events company from Leeds.
If you’re missing the presence of the man himself, there’ll be life-size cardboard cut-outs as well as hundreds of masks that will be handed out to revellers.
Good Life founders Louis Jadwat and Will Burbage came up with the idea for the club night while studying at Leeds University when they realised how much their fellow students worshipped Sir David Attenborough.
Jadwat told The Independent: ‘We saw the immense popularity of him amongst students in that every Sunday people would love watching Blue Planet and Planet Earth so thought it would be great to pay homage to him.
‘The first two nights in Leeds and Liverpool went down a treat with both pretty much selling out.’
A portion of the proceeds will also be donated to the World Land Trust, a charity that David is a patron of.
Tickets for David Attenborough’s Jungle Boogie cost £8 (plus booking fee) and you can buy them here.
