The Duke of Cambridge, AKA His Royal Highness Prince William of Wales celebrates his 35th birthday on June 21. To celebrate, here are 35 unknown facts about the Prince that will make your mouth drop.

1. Back in 2008, William joined the Royal Air Force. He was given the nickname ‘Billy the Fish’ by his comrades. And if you haven’t noticed, the nickname is a pun on the name ‘William of Wales’…

2. The Prince loves to surf. You can often see him hitting the waves in Cornwall, Devon and St Andrews…

3. He and wife Kate are both the same age…

4. The song the couple chose for their first dance was a cover of Elton John’s ‘Your Song’ by Ellie Goulding…
