Updated: 16 November 2016
The original Harry Potter books and film series may be a thing of the past, but the world created by JK Rowling is set to grow even further with the release of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. With so many Potter goodies available to fans, we’ve popped on our sorting hats and picked out the best of the bunch.

Obligatory Dumbledore dancing gif incoming…

Harry Potter Paperback Box Set (Books 1-7)

It would be remiss not to include the books – it is where the Harry Potter phenomenon began after all. JK Rowling has often spoken of her difficulty in developing the series, but once the story starts flowing it’s impossible to put down. As you can see from the sheer size of the later books, these aren’t just stories for kids either.

Slither into this bad boy

Everybody loves a good villain, and perennial Gryffindor rivals Slytherin were always up to no good. While Harry, Herminoe and Ron were all sitting pretty in their house colours of scarlet and gold, it was always the green and silver of Professor Snapes’ brigade that looked way cooler. This jumper isn’t cheap, but it will certainly warm you up in the coming winter months.

Fans will already want to visit King’s Cross, given its significance in the Potterverse, and now they can also visit The Harry Potter Shop at Platform 9 3/4, too.

Fantastic Book and Where To Find It

One of the key selling points of the new Fantastic Beasts film is that JK Rowling has written the screenplay herself. Whatever the film is like, there can at least be no doubt about it being the vision of the author. If you want to check it out for yourself, and we can’t see any reason not to, it will be available to buy on the day the film is released. That’s November 18th for any muggle reading this.

Warner Bros. Studio Tour

The blockbusting Harry Potter film series was made at Leavesden Studios just outside of London. On March 31, 2012 the Warner Bors. Studio Tour opened its doors to the public for the first time, and fans were able to explore the sets used in the film. Many original props are also on show, and with several expansions since launch, there is always an excuse to head down even if you have been before. Just avoid school holidays if you want a more leisurely experience.

Potter experiences around the world

You don’t have to visit the studios to get the full Potter experience. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando has recreated Hogsmeade and Daigon Alley, with a dining stop at The Leaky Cauldron also on offer.

If you’ve got your walking boots on, then how about a walking tour of Harry Potter locations around London? Make sure you watch the films beforehand to get all the references on the tour.

Harry Potter Wizard’s Collection (Blu-ray / DVD Combo)

This spectacular limited-edition collection is already a highly prized collection amongst fans. The 31(?!?) disc assortment includes every possible version of the series imaginable, and some we couldn’t even dream of too! It looks beautiful and would have you dancing down Daigon Alley if it ended up in your stocking this Christmas.

The Cursed Child

As we all know, the Harry Potter series continues to go from strength to strength. 2016 saw the launch of The Cursed Child, a stage production based on a story by JK Rowling herself. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Parts 1 & 2, Special Rehearsal Edition Script is a great read, and follows the adventures of Harry as an adult.

Harry Potter: The Complete 8-Film Collection

On the other end of the scale, if you’re after a cheap and cheerful version of the boxset, you can’t beat this offering. All the films are included in an attractive package that would look perfectly at home on any shelf at home. Harry Potter: The Complete 8-Film Collection is also the ideal way to introduce newbies to Hogwarts.

Harry Potter: Collectible Quidditch Set

Sadly, this official Quidditch set isn’t a playable version of Hogwarts’ favourite sporting activity. It is, however, a great way of showing your appreciation for one of the best bits of the books and films. There is also a handy lock and key to the trunk that will keep unwanted dementors out when you’re not around.

Harry Potter House Adult Fleece Hooded Bathrobe

Fancy ‘pottering’ around the house in your own Harry Potter bathrobe? Well now you can, and you can even choose which house to join as this adult fleece hooded bathrobe is available in all four variations, as well as a more general Hogwarts version for those of you who can’t decide. Anything is better than the Ravenclaw clan, because nobody can be bothered with that lot. Right?

Wizarding World Poster

Posters are often tacky, magazine freebies that you can only really getaway with if you’re a university student. Yes, we all had that Betty Blue wall art that made us feel so chic in the 1990s even though none of us had actually seen the film. This update looks much better and is at least from a movie that you will have some actual knowledge of.

Now, all you have to do is magic up the money to get all these fantastic goodies.
