The first batch of acts for this year’s Glastonbury festival has been revealed.

Pop queen Katy Perry will be making her festival debut while Bee Gees star Barry Gibb is taking the Sunday teatime ‘legend’ slot, following in the footsteps of Dolly Parton and Lionel Richie.

The xx, Stormzy, Biffy Clyro, The National and Solange are some of the 85 acts who will be joining previously announced headliners Radiohead, Foo Fighters and Ed Sheeran at Worthy Farm, Somerset.

Festival organisers tweeted a picture of the line-up poster this morning.

Grime features prominently in the line-up with Boy Better Know, Kano, Dizzee Rascal and Wiley playing alongside Stormzy.

More names are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Tickets for the festival have already sold out.

It will be the last Glastonbury until 2019 with the festival taking a fallow year to give the farm a much-needed break.

Glastonbury takes place from June 21 to 25.
