Wingham Wildlife Park in Kent – the garden of England – originally opened in 1986 as a bird park. Since then, the park has grown to accommodate a huge variety of animals, including big cats, reptiles and meerkats. The picture-perfect Georgian house is set amid manicured gardens in the quiet village of Ash, less than five minutes from the wildlife park by car.
