Take a meditative walk through the pine-tree-laden forests or head into the town of Formby for a delicious dinner and shopping. If you’re planning to visit Liverpool, Cheshire and North Wales, then this is the camping spot for you. It has a variety of on-site facilities including laundry and parent and child shower rooms. 3. Arrowe Brook Farm Campsite

Camping

Pitch a tent on this scenic orchard in lush, rural Wirral. If it’s peace and quiet that you long for, this Camping and Caravan Club Certified Site on a working farm may be calling your name. Visit the local pub around the corner, stock up with provisions at the nearby shops and enjoy the tons of local walking trails. It can get chilly in the North West, so don’t forget to pack some warm clothes. While this campsite may seem rather secluded, you’re only a 30-minute drive away from Liverpool. 5. Watkinsons Farm

Camping

Just a touch north of Liverpool you’ll find Watkinsons Farm, a family-owned glamping site set on a working farm. The campsite is hugged by ancient woodlands, known as Alice’s Plantation, and the area is perfect for wildlife watching, enjoying time outdoors or just playing games with the family. Of course, it wouldn’t be glamping without the luxury bell tents, some of which contain log-burning stoves. Kick back and enjoy some off-grid peace and comfort in the Lancashire countryside.
