The highly-rated menu successfully combines creative new dishes, such as the outstanding Arabian buttered eggs or avocado and feta smash on sourdough; with breakfast classics, like the eggs benedict and the sausage sandwich that comes with award-winning Saxon sausages. York’s Bakery also offers a great selection of homemade cakes and fresh bread.

The two most outstanding dishes are the Kitchen Garden’s famous hash potatoes with onions and kedgeree, an inventive variation of the classic Victorian breakfast dish.
