The United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) is sending one lucky person on a one-month, all-expenses-paid trip around the world.

The winner will explore destinations including Colombia, Germany, Mexico and the United Arab Emirate of Ras al-Khaimah and discover the sustainable tourism practices that are taking place there.

The journey will start at the UNWTO headquarters in Madrid with an official ‘designation’ ceremony from the organisation’s secretary general, Taleb Rifai. It will end nearly four weeks later at the closing ceremony of the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development 2017 in Geneva, Switzerland.

To enter simply fill out the application on the Travel.Enjoy.Respect website, share your travel experiences and explain why you should be selected to be the face of global, responsible travel. Entries must be submitted by 18th October 2017 and applicants must be able to travel from 24th November to 19th December 2017.
