Coronavirus has had an immediate impact on almost every aspect of daily life. Many people have been forced to set up temporary offices wherever they live and work from home. The option of forgoing the typical 9-to-5 office routine was previously seen as a luxury, but as some parts of the world emerge from lockdown, is remote working really an irrevocable part of the new normal?

The fantasy of avoiding rush hour commutes to dreary offices and staying in bed in your pyjamas until lunchtime obviously has its benefits, but what about those of us who also want some wanderlust back in our lives? A fascinating new trend in recent weeks has seen people looking for exotic locations to set up their mobile offices. Some countries offer peace and quiet, perfect for filling those urgent requests in complete relaxation, whereas other locations are going out of their way to encourage employees to relocate.

Here are some of the options available if you want to work from home, from paradise.

With a great location, a balcony view and a pool area, this property has it all. Four guests can stay here in peaceful Perivolia with a beach just a short walk away. The vibrant town centre has great bars and restaurants, although we think it would be a struggle to leave the comforting confines of the apartment complex. As this property isn’t too far from the main airport (although it is far enough for noise to not be an issue), you could even use this as a quick getaway destination if you just need a break from it all.
