Inside you’ll find a slightly more modern setting, with big, squishy sofas throughout – although retaining original features such as fireplaces and wood panelling. The restaurant is well worth a visit, and afternoon tea on the terrace is a real treat. The town centre is a 10-minute drive away, so you can easily enjoy the city life, too.
