What’s in a name? When it comes to travelling, more than you might think.

A new report from Hostelworld.com reveals that Daniels, Michaels and Davids are more likely to book an escape than men with any other names.

The findings are based on a global study, which analysed booking data from over 100 countries. Sarahs, Lauras and Jessicas are supposedly the most adventurous women (ranked fourth, fifth and ninth overall). Want to know where your name falls on the list?

In the UK, James topped the national chart for men and Hannah did for women. Between them, people with these two names booked 35% more trips than the next most adventurous pair – Daniel and Emma – according to the report.
