‘Better three hours too soon than a minute too late’ to this Shakespeare Festival in Bristol. Back for its thirteenth year, the festival is set to bring you the best Shakespeare companies throughout the country. With a wide selection of the bard’s plays being put on at various locations, there will be shows for everyone to enjoy. If you’re keen to relax with a picnic in a rural surrounding then why not visit Brandon Hill Bowling Green to watch Much Ado About Nothing by Lord Chamberlain’s Men? Perhaps you want to experience Shakespeare a little differently? Become immersed in the Impromptu Shakespeare at The Wardrobe Theatre. The Impromptu cast will also be holding improvised workshops for keen thespians and children to become better acquainted with the art of Shakespeare. So whether you want to bask in the sun whilst watching comical plays or be enthralled in the tragedies, never forget that ‘all the world’s a stage.’
