Kryyivka

Interior design of Kryyivka

Amid the buildings of the Market Square, there is a bar that has been stylized as the shelter of partisans. Military ammunition on the walls, portraits of soldiers, and dressed up waiters and waitresses will help you plunge into the times when Ukrainian insurgents lived underground and fought for the inviolability of state borders. The atmosphere inside is truly unique. Because the place is the extremely popular among tourists, it is open 24 hours. Both the bar and the restaurant have exclusively Ukrainian cuisine and homemade infusions. Everything is served in military dishes.

Masoch Café

Masoch is an exceptional place in Lviv that is dedicated to the man whose name is the origin of the word masochism. At the entrance to the venue, you will be greeted with a bronze monument of erotic writer Leopold von Sacher-Masoch. The monument has a pocket in the trousers on the right side, at the bottom of which you can grasp male genitalia. But this is only the beginning. Proceeding to the bar, you’ll get a special menu with a masochistic theme: food with aphrodisiacs in erotic arrangements and extreme cocktails.

More than 200 kerosene lamps are showcased there, which were created in different years of the last century. It is a perfect venue for a party, to watch a football game, or to have a business meeting with a glass of old Scotch. The name of this bar is Kumpel, which is Ukrainian war-period slang for companion or a good friend. It is not only a bar and restaurant with a friendly atmosphere that popularizes and restores Galician cuisine and regional traditions in general, but it is also a network of shops that offer natural products of a high quality and perfect taste. At Kumpel you can try unfiltered, freshly brewed beer from its own brewery, which serves as the main element of the décor in the hall.

Drunk Cherry

Drunk Cherry, or Piyana Vyshnya, is a legendary bar in Lviv city. The door to the bar is always open, and you can recognize it by the huge red chandelier.
