Ukraine My Home
In recent times, despite unstable political and economic situations in Ukraine, the younger generations prefer not to leave the country. People appreciate the ancient history, homeland cosiness, and rich, pure nature. The aerial footage, presented by one of the social media users (Oleg Prilutskiy), features the central and western parts of the country. Being a home to more than 40 million people, and having central geolocation on the European continent, Ukraine is a totally new must-visit for curious tourists.
Ukraine. Open for U
Another video, made by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, introduces the country as a land of unlimited opportunities. Surprisingly, Ukraine is the world’s major exporter of sunflower oil and grains. It is the fourth most educated nation in the world with 99 percent literacy and a motherland of such prominent IT specialists as Max Levchin (one of the PayPal creators) and Jan Koum (WhatsApp co-creator). Therefore, the country is not only a great destination for tourism, but also a favourable place for investments and business development.
Switch On Ukraine
‘Switch On Ukraine’ is a TV commercial, aimed at creating a positive image of Ukraine for the European football championship, held in 2012 and co-hosted with Poland. A lot of things in Ukraine have changed since then, but its stunning architecture and authentic cultural customs remain the same. In the video, one can watch the traditional celebration of Ivana Kupala (a folk festival dedicated to the summer solstice), when women are dressed in the national costumes with amazing floral crowns, and see breathtaking sunrises and meet the local cheerful spirit.
Meet the real Ukraine
Ukraine is very different in all senses. It is boiling hot during the summer, snowy and freezing in winter, and mild in autumn and spring. An honest ‘Meet the real Ukraine’ video pictures the country as it is. It is an honest episode about foggy mornings and sunny afternoons, about joy and sadness, cruel war and awaited peace. It is also about the pain of the nation, its hope and faith, hidden inspiration and love. Ukraine is a country of contrasts that one should experience at least once.
