This former grain silo looms over the southern banks of the river Maas and wouldn’t look out of place in Blade Runner or any other example of dystopian fiction. Although Maassilo appears strangely futuristic, it is actually over 100 years old and was once recognised as the largest grain storage facility in Europe. Since then the buildings been converted into an expansive cultural centre that houses four separate club venues.
