Updated: 27 February 2017
In order to prepare eager music aficionados for the coming summer, Culture Trip has rounded up the best festivals taking place in the Netherlands during 2017. This year, several big names are set to appear at events around the country, including Radiohead, Lil’ Wayne and Norah Jones, alongside smaller, equally important international acts like Arca or Migos and leading Dutch talent such as SMIB, Fatima Yamiha and Weval.

📅 Saturday, July 1

Although Pitch usually takes place in Amsterdam’s Westerpark at the beginning of July, this year the festival has moved to a larger site on NDSM-Werf, near to IJ-Hallen, Hotel Faralda and Pllek. Pitch’s program is mainly orientated around contemporary, popular electronic and dance music. British post-dub step duo Mount Kimbie and Dutch cult favourite Fatima Yamiha have already been announced and many more names are set to appear on Pitch’s line-up in the coming months.

Since its first iteration in 1976, the North Sea Jazz Festival has grown into an internationally recognised event and is acknowledged as the largest indoor jazz festival in the world.
