The Butcher’s Tears Tasting Room

The Butcher’s Tears is the dark horse of Amsterdam’s craft brewers. Its team use experimental techniques to create delicious beers with a bite, mixing time honed recipes with modern artisan methods. The brewery is at the tail-end of Oud-Zuid inside of an old industrial complex. A small tasting room is attached to its main plant and serves a rotating line of beers from its stainless steel taps.

Cobra Café

Cobra Café overlooks Museumplein, a short walk away from the Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk and the Iamsterdam sign. Its interior is inspired by the cobra movement and contains a wooden statue of Karel Appel as well as several paintings that resemble work by Constant.
