One Redditor claimed that recent footage captured by a Canadian drone flyer looked like the opening scene of The Two Towers – after watching the video, we’re sure you’ll agree. Here’s the story.

Drones are proving to be one of the most wanted tech gadgets this year. A Canadian drone racer (yes, such people exist) who goes by the name of Gabriel Kocher (AKA Gab707) recently travelled to Le Hübschhorn – a mammoth mountain peak high in the Swiss Alps – and filmed a beautiful, highly cinematic 90-second film that looks like the opening to a blockbuster fantasy movie (we’re looking at you, Lord of the Rings).

The Swiss peak, which rises a colossal 10,000 feet above sea level, is awe-inspiringly beautiful and is visited by thousands of tourists every year. The film, accompanied by music from the latest James Bond film, has been watched a phenomenal 1.1 million times since it was uploaded to YouTube on January 3rd.

Kocher captured the film on nothing but a simple GoPro camera attached to his racing drone, which is capable of flying more than 80 miles per hour (woof!).
