Sercotel Boulevard Vitoria

With its contemporary chainmail-like exterior, the Sercotel Boulevard Vitoria is the embodiment of an urban hotel. Hotel Casa de los Arquillos

The chic Hotel Casa de los Arquillos is located in the heart of the city’s Old Town, along the famed Paseo de los Arquillos – a string of neoclassical buildings and arches, built between 1787 and 1802 and declared a Historic-Artistic Monument in 1984. The stunning boutique hotel has just eight rooms and eight loft spaces and combines historic features such as old brick walls and wooden beams with clean, modern interior design, contemporary furniture and bright red-tiled bathrooms.

Hotel Jardines de Uleta Suites

Situated on the outskirts of the city, the Hotel Jardines de Uleta Suites is a sight to behold with its multicoloured glass windows in luminous tones of pinks, oranges, blues and greens. Hotel NH Canciller Ayala Vitoria

Part of the NH hotel group, the four-star NH Canciller Ayala Vitoria is housed in one of the tallest buildings in the city and offers spectacular views over central locations such as the Plaza de la Virgen Blanca, the Basque Parliament and the town hall. The 173 rooms are modern and spacious with polished wood flooring and soft furnishings in white and beige. The hotel also has a restaurant serving international and Basque cuisine.

Gran Hotel Lakua

The only five-star hotel in the city, the Gran Hotel Lakua is located in a residential area north of the centre, and not far from the airport. With its avant-garde design, it’s filled with modern artwork, bold colours and quirky pieces of furniture. Its 147 rooms and 27 apartments are slightly more muted with shades of navy blue and grey, and plenty of wood. There’s also a piano bar for drinking and relaxing, a cafe for sampling pintxos, a gym for working out and a small spa for indulging.

AC Hotel General Álava

Part of the Marriott hotel group, the AC Hotel General Álava is located in the centre of the city and is just a short walk from the Fine Arts Museum, the Bibat Museum and the Santa Maria Cathedral.
