Established in 2002, Astral Cocktail Bar has become one of Marbella’s best-known cocktail bars. It is located near the entrance of Puerto Banus and sits close to the beach. The whole bar is crafted entirely out of wood, adding a design punch to the already impressive setting. With such a vast array of impressibly-presented cocktails to choose from, customers are left spoilt for choice. A great spot to start the night, or linger on into the evening.

The Playwright Bar was established in 2011 and prides itself on being a testimonial to the great playwrights, including Shakespeare and Wilde. The bar is quite a traditional one, serving some of the best beers and spirits Spain has to offer, as well as having one of the largest whiskey collections in the country, with some bottles dating back to the 1800s. Customers are welcome to sample if they wish, or simply enjoy a quiet drink. A restaurant is also attached, for those looking for something to accompany their drink.
La Taberna del Pinxto is a traditional bar, serving tapas and other small bites. There are cold dishes at the bar, and small plates of hot tapas brought around to the table by the waiting staff. It’s the perfect complement to the traditional drinks available and a very Spanish way to start the evening.
