The La Curruteka Bar‘s location is a five-minute walk from the Atocha Station – Madrid’s main train station – The Museum of Modern Art (Reina Sofia), and Cine Doré/filmoteca. The drinks are cheap in this discreet, yet amazing place and this charming little bar is a great place to relax with friends. Check out the selection of wines to choose from. Tirso de Molina was one of Spain‘s most important playwrights and this cafe, on the Calle de la Magdelena, was founded back in 1864 to celebrate the life of Toulouse Lautrec. It is a delightful and romantic place to spend an evening at the outdoor tables looking at the various tiled panels of French life in the 19th century. The venue is the perfect setting to enjoy a few drinks in the open air. In addition to serving drinks, The Taberna Tirso de Molina is a restaurant as well as a bar.
