Whether seeking a relaxing evening with a glass of wine and some traditional Spanish entertainment, a night at the theatre for some opera, a cozy club with smooth jazz, or a bustling bar bursting with energy and live bands, Palma is full of great nights out. While Magaluf might be (in)famous for its hardcore party atmosphere, the Mallorcan capital is peppered with a range of more civilised music options from blues to flamenco and even the occasional visiting pop star. You just have to know where to look.


Hotel Saratoga

The Blue Jazz Club and Restaurant at this popular four-star hotel is located on the seventh floor, providing fabulous views across the local marina and making for a fun and relaxed night out. They offer a wide variety of of local, national and international guest artists performing jam sessions, quartet recitals, funk and groove. If you love jazz and a touch of opulence, this is a venue not to be missed.

Auditorium

The Auditorium is a grand a venue as the name implies. It hosts famous classical artists from around the world, from opera singers, pianists and orchestras to pop bands and dance performances. Situated along the marina close to La Lonja, it’s the perfect location to make a night of it with restaurants and bars in abundance and beautiful walks along the waterfront looking out across the moored yachts towards the sea.

Sa Posada de Bellver

This quirky gem is a music venue and restaurant in one. Its bohemian style adds character to the live music performances of jazz, salsa and flamenco.
