Most visitors to Ibiza fantasise about the life they could have if they lived there. Be it in a quaint farmhouse stuffed with rattan weave and rustic-chic furnishings, or a sleek minimalist villa adorned with avant-garde artworks, there are numerous boutiques on the island to cater for every taste. Here’s a rundown of our favourite places to shop to kit out your dream Ibizan home.

1. Es Cucons La Tienda

Shop, Store

In the picturesque village of Santa Gertrudis, Es Cucons is the kind of shop you struggle to walk past and not pop in. Outside the store are piled baskets in every size, shape and style imaginable, while under a wicker awning are stacks of ceramics, cushions, fabrics and rails of boho-chic clothing. Inside, the maze-like shop is surprisingly big, with more homewares, clothes and toys. A shop you will happily come back to every time you visit the island, Es Cucons is styled in a way that will make you long for that bohemian life in Ibiza (and a house on the island to furnish).

2. Sluiz

Shop, Store

A particularly colourful feast for the eyes, <a href=”https://www.sluiz.com/”>Sluiz</a> is a veritable emporium of kitsch, packed with every kind of homeware you can imagine,&nbsp;including rugs, ceramics, candles, furniture, garden gnomes and much more. If the more ordinary items don’t tickle your fancy, there are giant plastic cacti, huge brightly coloured cows, rhinos and other random items (although you might have difficulty getting them home). Once shopping is out of the way, you can sit for a while and enjoy a drink in the shady garden.

3. Tanis

Shop

Located on the road into Santa Gertrudis, this sleek and stylish shop run by two interior designers is bright and airy, with reams of fabrics piled on the walls, and a beautiful range&nbsp;of furniture, rugs, lighting and other household items. There is a cafe on site and <a href=”http://www.tanisibiza.com/” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener noreferrer”>Tanis</a>&nbsp;offer an interior styling and design consultancy, as well as an upholstery service.

5. Cocoq Home Store

Shop, Store

<a href=”https://www.cocoqibiza.com/home” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener noreferrer”>Cocoq Home Store</a> is a large showroom and warehouse-style interiors shop, selling everything you might ever need for your home, from bigger items of furniture right down to ornaments and knick-knacks. A good place for a wander around, there are various themed and styled ‘rooms’ to get you inspired.

6. La Galeria Elefante

Store

<a href=”https://www.lagaleriaelefante.com/product-category/home-living/” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener noreferrer”>La Galeria Elefantia</a> is good for smaller household items, colourful kitchenware, novelty cushions and textiles, all boho-inspired. They also sell clothes, jewellery and a huge range of candles and incense. If you can’t get to the store, you can purchase some of their items online.

7. La Maison Blanche

Building, Shop

Located in an ostentatious white, neo-classical building close to the resort of Santa Eulalia, <a href=”https://www.lamaisonblanche-ibiza.com/”>La Maison Blanche</a> specialises in furniture and homewares from Southeast Asia, India and Morocco. The interiors of the shop are as lavish as the entrance to the building suggests, with four-poster beds, vast banqueting tables with ornate chairs and a huge garden at the back filled with bali-beds, Indonesian temple-style gazebos, urns and statues.

Since you are here, we would like to share our vision for the future of travel - and the direction Culture Trip is moving in.

Culture Trip launched in 2011 with a simple yet passionate mission: to inspire people to go beyond their boundaries and experience what makes a place, its people and its culture special and meaningful — and this is still in our DNA today. We are proud that, for more than a decade, millions like you have trusted our award-winning recommendations by people who deeply understand what makes certain places and communities so special.

Increasingly we believe the world needs more meaningful, real-life connections between curious travellers keen to explore the world in a more responsible way. That is why we have intensively curated a collection of premium small-group trips as an invitation to meet and connect with new, like-minded people for once-in-a-lifetime experiences in three categories: Culture Trips, Rail Trips and Private Trips. Our Trips are suitable for both solo travelers, couples and friends who want to explore the world together.

Culture Trips are deeply immersive 5 to 16 days itineraries, that combine authentic local experiences, exciting activities and 4-5* accommodation to look forward to at the end of each day. Our Rail Trips are our most planet-friendly itineraries that invite you to take the scenic route, relax whilst getting under the skin of a destination. Our Private Trips are fully tailored itineraries, curated by our Travel Experts specifically for you, your friends or your family.

We know that many of you worry about the environmental impact of travel and are looking for ways of expanding horizons in ways that do minimal harm - and may even bring benefits. We are committed to go as far as possible in curating our trips with care for the planet. That is why all of our trips are flightless in destination, fully carbon offset - and we have ambitious plans to be net zero in the very near future.
