Natura Bissé

Natura Bissé is probably one of the world’s most recognised Spanish cosmetic brands. The brand was founded in Barcelona in 1979 by Ricardo Fisas Mulleras and started out with just five skin creams. Today, the company has stores worldwide and still focuses on skincare, using innovative technologies that help target the effects of ageing.

Skeyndor

Germaine de Capuccini

With over 50 years experience in skincare, Germaine de Capuccini was founded by Carmen Vidal and is sold in more than 80 countries worldwide. The brand stands for elegance, serenity, beauty and purity. Its symbol, the swan, embodies all these qualities. Carmen Vidal created her skincare brand from the secrets of beauty learned in her native Algiers and while working in Paris. Germaine de Capuccini’s products include those for the face, body, hair, as well as make-up and fragrances.

Ami Iyök

Ami Iyök is an award-winning natural and organic brand cosmetic brand, committed to the environment and social responsibility. With over 20 years of experience, their products feature no unnatural chemicals or pesticides, and even their bottles and containers are recyclable. The range includes cleansers and toners, moisturisers, nutritive formulas, body care treatments and even a product line for pets.

The Lab Room

The Lab Room started life out as a day spa, created by Mónica Ceño Elie-Joseph, and in 2004 became a niche cosmetic line focusing on products for both the body and soul. With experience working for L’Oréal Paris, Mónica’s products feature botanical and aromatherapy properties, and have become a favourite with celebrities such as Penelope Cruz, Natalie Portman and Jennifer Lopez. The line includes oils, creams, balms and perfumes, among others.

Thalissi

Thalissi was founded by Alicia Pérez Aragó, in Murcia, who also created the first Institute of Beauty and the first School of Aes­thetics designed for women. With more than 40 years’ experience, its products are based on organic, natural and ecological ingredients, and are can be found across Europe, Asia and the Middle East. The company’s range includes skincare for the face and body, and essential oils.

Etnia

One of the youngest Spanish cosmetic brands, Etnia Cosmetics was only founded in 2012. The company focuses on various types of makeup at competitive prices, and also produces fun and colourful packaging. Besides lipsticks and glosses, eye liners, eye shadows and foundations, they also do a haircare line, fragrances and products for body treatments.

Byphasse

A Barcelona-based brand, Byphasse aims to create quality, sophisticated products at affordable prices, and has been featured in many of Spain’s top beauty magazines. Their product range offers lines for haircare, body, hands and feet, as well as a line especially designed for the delicate skin of babies.

Lola Barcelona

Lola Barcelona is a fun and colourful makeup brand, providing an emphasis on environmentally friendly and vegan ingredients – containing absolutely no animal products. The brand includes ranges for the lips, face and nails, as well as special lines for sensitive skin.

Amapola Biocosmetics

Amapola Biocosmetics was created by Ana Isabel de Andrés with an emphasis on organic and ecological ingredients. The word amapola means poppy in English and is befitting to the brand, which focuses on plant extracts, colours and fragrances. Products include creams, soaps, sun protection and aromatherapy oils, as well as lines for children and babies.
