Moscow has great value cheap cafés and food kiosks all over the place; the city is full of food markets and courts. But we decided to narrow it down and show you the best budget places you can eat in—restaurants, cafés, bars, and kiosks. We cannot guarantee you an extensive gourmet meal or ridiculously great fine dining experience, but we can promise you a tasty and solid cheap eat experience in the heart of Moscow.

1. Dizengoff 99

Cafe, Israeli, Coffee, Tea , Russian, Vegetarian

A quality budget Israeli café in Moscow, Dizengoff 99 was originally established in Tel Aviv and only some time afterward did the owner decide to open another branch, this time in Moscow’s downtown, obviously because the dishes were in high demand among Russian visitors. Nowadays, Dizengoff 99 maintains its status as one of the best Israeli eateries in Moscow, particularly for those who keep kosher. The price is more than affordable, as the courses cost around 700 rubles, which is nearly 10 euro. Try to visit it if you’re in Moscow.

2. The Burger Brothers

Restaurant, European, American, Beer

Sometimes you don’t want to spend much at the café or a restaurant, but you still want a tasty meal. The only thing we can say about this restaurant—it’s affordable, nourishing, efficient, and attentive. Located in the Red October district of Moscow, it is right near the Moscow river and Strelka Bar. The menu is divided into burgers, snacks, and bigger sharing plates, which changes according to the season. Expect some lesser-known regional ingredients of Russian origin. The menu is a healthy and nourishing balance between new, exciting, biodynamic, and classic burger courses. There are also beers, wines, and non-alcoholic house-made lemonades on offer.

3. True Burgers

Cafe, Fast Food, Coffee, Tea , Russian, Vegetarian

This is a budget and contemporary burger bar and café located in the central district of Moscow; it is sometimes its tricky to find if you’re a visitor. They don’t accept credit and debit cards, so be ready with cash. As well as the classic beef burgers, there are also fish, chicken, and veggie options, a vast choice of soups and salads and pumpkin courses are on offer starting in October. Delicious! And the price is really low.
