Meet the Cutest Russian Sailors Ever

You may think cats and water don’t mix but Russian company VODOHOD River Cruises, disagree. We meet Matros and Botsman, the laziest crew members on board the Nikolay Chernishevsky, a tourist boat that ferries people between Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Matros, or Sailor in English, is a Persian that likes to sleep on the job. He has been accompanying official captain Vladimir Kotin on water jaunts since 2008 and as head cat, he regularly keeps watch at the captain’s bridge between midnight and 4am.

Cruise newcomer and Scottish Fold Botsman, is still getting used to working life. He doesn’t take the job too seriously, preferring to coast on his good looks.

The pair of them have become viral sensations after a video of them in uniform and hard at work did the internet rounds. However it appears these cats could care even less about their fandom than they do about their jobs.
