The town of Kętrzyn in Poland
attracts visitors mostly because of its proximity to the famous Wolf’s Lair (Wilczy Szaniec), which is a forest base that Adolf Hitler spent over 800 days living in during World War II. Aside from the gory retreat on the edge of town, Kętrzyn is in the heart of Masury – Poland’s Lake District, and is just a short train or bus ride from the larger city of Olsztyn
. The town has lots of trendy and typical Polish bars in which to enjoy superb food, or spend an evening listening to music. This list covers the best of the bars in town.
