A simple restaurant overlooking the water, Trattoria da Alvise faces the northern lagoon has a view of the Dolomites on cloudless days. The terrace is built using a traditional technique of shoving poles in the the waterbed, and it is here that guests can listen to the gentle lapping of waves as they eat.
