For homesick Yankees longing for the items from their middle-school bake sales, this might be just the place to go. Lunch and dinner offers other kinds of Americanisms, like the lobster roll.

5. Cafè La Ciacola

Here’s a great little cafe for everything from your morning coffee to your after-dinner drink. Stop in for a classic of the bar counter in the Veneto: a tramezzino. If you need something to get your day started, a quick bite from La Ciacola can’t be beaten. The place also hosts lovely concerts with local musicians and has a great, friendly vibe.
