You will probably have to hunt for this small cocktail lounge just around the corner from Piazza Tasso but when you find it you will be rewarded with a place that knows its cocktails. From classics like sidecar and gin fizz, they also shake a mean martini infused with oyster brine or one with gold leaf. Attention to detail is on point with touches like frosted glasses and hand cut ice.

Book a sofa for a sunset and watch as the sky turns from cobalt to pink back to a soft inky blue while you sip a flute of prosecco or an expertly mixed drink with a DJ set soundtrack. The service here is friendly and attentive, such as you’re offered warm blankets if the wind picks up. The Sky View Bar is in the hamlet of Sant’Agnello, about 15 minutes from Sorrento, and is not open every day to make sure you plan ahead.
