One of the most recognisable places in town, Fauno takes up prime real estate in the Piazza Tasso. A busy bar during the day you can have a cappuccino at the bar or sit down for a lemon granita in the afternoon. Have a leisurely spritz in the late afternoon when the day trippers depart and the buzz gradually slows. After dark, the space transforms into one of the areas hottest late night spots.

You will probably have to hunt for this small cocktail lounge just around the corner from Piazza Tasso but when you find it you will be rewarded with a place that knows its cocktails. From classics like sidecar and gin fizz, they also shake a mean martini infused with oyster brine or one with gold leaf. Attention to detail is on point with touches like frosted glasses and hand cut ice.

This modern space with both inside and outside seating serves well mixed cocktails and sushi both of which make for a nice break from the wine and pasta diet. The owner, Nunzio is more than happy to share his knowledge and passion with other aficionados. Try the locally produced lemon beer with a snack of ricotta topped with his beer honey. This is also a good spot to watch a football match.
Sky View Bar

Open from June to September, this rooftop lounge has spectacular views. Book a sofa for a sunset and watch as the sky turns from cobalt to pink back to a soft inky blue while you sip a flute of prosecco or an expertly mixed drink with a DJ set soundtrack. The service here is friendly and attentive, such as you’re offered warm blankets if the wind picks up. The Sky View Bar is in the hamlet of Sant’Agnello, about 15 minutes from Sorrento, and is not open every day to make sure you plan ahead.
