Tihany was created by God when he was happy, or so goes the saying among Hungarians. With its enchanting natural beauty, this peninsula will transport you far away from your everyday problems. The Abbey here is one of the oldest in Hungary. Since it attracts more people during the summer due to the vicinity of Lake Balaton, restaurants may have different opening times than usual in wintertime – it is worth making a call before heading out to one.
