EVENT | Live A Night Of Fantasy At ΦantastiCon 2016

📅 October 1st-2nd; 11:00 AM-9:00 PM

Geek it out at the FantastiCon. After a successful first edition, the Greek Fantasy Society is back! There will be an award ceremony for the writing contest ΦantasticWords 2016 and the digital art contest, plus there will be a Dungeons and Dragon Tournament. Admission is free of charge.

EVENT | Taste The Nectar Of The Gods At Cellier Wine Fair

If you have a passion for baking, this is the workshop for you. French chef Emmanuel Hamon will teach techniques on how to bake scrumptious desserts such as a banana caramel and tonka religieuse, an apricot and lavender éclair, or even a jiao tart and more.

DANCE | Watch A Live Performance Of The Bolshoi Ballet Moscow At The Megaron

PERFORMANCE | Come Relive One Of The Best Romantic Stories Of Our Time

📅 October 19th-21st

The Armonia Atenea-The Friends of Music Orchestra and a troupe of singers and actors present a production of a classic musical, West Side Story. Following the Romeo and Juliet narrative, West Side Story shifts the action to a modern setting with music from Leonard Bernstein. The musical quickly gained popularity on its premiere night in 1957 and comes to Athens for five dates this fall. Enjoy at your own risk.

EVENT | Get Political At The Eurocities Social Affairs Forum

Besides the various hip-hop acts, the festival has the mission to not only promote volunteering but also the rising hip-hop artists in the city. PHOTOGRAPHY | Discover Another Side From Another Europe

📅 From September 29th until November 20th

The ongoing photographic exhibition of Images of another Europe by Constantinos Pittas features a variety of photos of the Old continent. Spanning from 1985 to 1989, from Lisbon to Krakow, from the East to the West, you get to enjoy and discover an often forgotten aspect of Europe. Pittas’ collection stops on the day the Berlin Wall went down. It’s an intense photo series you should see.

MUSIC | Prolong The Summer Mood At The Smash Music Festival

The Smash Festival is returning with new dates after the cancellation of the event in September. Featuring local and international artists such as Mahom, Osaka, Mahmut Ohman, and the Herbaliser, Smash is sure to become an unmissable event on the Athenian music scene.

EXHIBITION | Explore The Chaotic Aspect of Memories At A.Antonopoulou Gallery

Yiannis Boutaris‘ collection is presented at the a.antonopoulou gallery. This impressive collection features portraits of eminent Greek personalities, animal sculptures, Matryoshka dolls, and even original teapots. More than just an exhibition of kitsch items, the artifacts are presented in the vein of an art installation to spark a reflection on the falseness of kitsch and on the art of collecting items.

MUSIC | Delight At The Acropolis Museum Harp Melodies Program

📅 October 31st from 1:00-4:00 PM

The Acropolis Museum is worth a visit for any classic art lover, but its restaurant is well worth it as well. The Harp Melodies program has been going on for a while now, but this is your last chance to enjoy it. Since June 6th, the museum’s restaurant has been filled with harp melodies by Thodoris Matoulas every Monday to Thursday. Have a nice lunch while enjoying stunning music by one of the best harpists in Greece.
