The autumn season of the Benaki Museum is inaugurated by the much awaited exhibition by Tony Cragg, his first solo one in Athens. 25 sculptures of his latest works, made of mirror-finished stainless steel, bronze, wood, stone and plastic, are on show, offering an eye-opening glimpse into his style and oeuvre.

Born in Liverpool in 1949, Tony Cragg was educated at the Wimbledon School of Art (BA) and at the Royal College of Art (MA). He has lived in Germany since 1977, with his home and studio located in Wuppertal, and a teaching post at the art academy in Düsseldorf.
