Famous for its eclectic music scene, Athens has a plethora of live music bars and restaurants where you can enjoy local and international talents. While these are perfectly adequate spots to listen to your favorite band, there are plenty of excellent music venues where you can relish in a full-fledged concert. Here is a guide to the best music venues in Athens, where there is something to satisfy everyone’s musical cravings.

1. Gazarte

Concert Hall, Library

Located in the Gazi District and with one of the liveliest nightlife scenes in town, Gazarte is an institution. The venue includes a library, a concert hall, a restaurant/bar area, plus a beautiful and green terrace. And though the bar serves delicious cocktails, the strong point of Gazarte is the events and live gigs it hosts regularly. From small intimate shows to larger ones, it has managed to establish itself as one of the best places for a concert or performance.
