If there is one place in Moabit that would make you want to sit and read a newspaper all afternoon, this would be it. Fiaker has not only a wonderful brunch selection, but exceptional cakes and coffee. With a charming atmosphere and a lovely little terrace, it does not have the feeling you are anywhere near a chaotic capital city. Instead, it feels like a place to spend long, lazy Sundays with good company. Whether that company is people you know, or something from the patisserie selection, that is up to you.

2. Tirrée

Bar, Cafe, Restaurant, German, Vegan

This little gem is a charming addition to Moabit. With homemade cakes, scones, and gluten-free and vegan options, Tirrée is a warm and welcoming place for breakfast, brunch, or to come back to for a drink in the evening. They often have art exhibitions around the cafe, showcasing local Berlin artists, as well as the permanent feature of papier mâché animal light decorations. For the sheer fact that it is not possible to fully explain what that might look like, take a brunch break and pile into one of the eclectic armchairs one weekend.

3. Café Moabit

With its quirky decor and a homey feel, it’s a perfect place to stop for coffee and cake or something more filling.
