Berlin is a fashion-forward city and a shopping paradise. With everything from small boutiques, vintage stores, flea and antique markets to new and modern shopping malls, bargain stores and luxury designers, there is something for every budget and taste. Here are the city’s best and cheapest shopping malls, for shoppers looking to hunt down the latest trends.

Europa-Center Berlin

Located in the trendy shopping district, Charlottenburg, close to the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church and famous strip Kurfürstendamm, is the Europa-Center. Offering around 70 retail shops, along with restaurants, office spaces and more. Shoppers on a budget can take refuge here from the area’s luxury shops and hunt down a bargain.

The Alexa shopping centre is located near Alexanderplatz, in Mitte. With over 50,000 square meters of shopping area and 5 floors, this huge shopping mall has a diverse range of shops and products. About half of the range is accessory and fashion stores, amongst them, are popular trade stores and brands, as well as specialized stores. You can shop til you drop with the city’s iconic TV tower in the background.

Boulevard Berlin

Boulevard Berlin is a slightly upscale shopping experience with reasonable prices. Housing 120 stores with well-known national and international brands and chains, the four-floor shopping center is shared by a range of beauty, fashion and accessories stores. Also with hairdressers, shoemakers and travel agencies, there is plenty on offer here.

Located next to a large train station in Wedding, the Gesundbrunnen-Centre welcomes shoppers with a mix of shops spread across roughly 25,000 square metres. With over 100 different retail stores, each with their own sales, this is the perfect stop to shop the latest fashion from chain stores.

Schönhauser Allee Arcaden

Located in the north of Prenzlauer Berg, the Schönhauser Allee Arcaden is a rare shopping experience mixed amongst the small specialized and concept stores in the area. Offering a huge range of well-known chains and smaller brands, it’s a great place to shop the latest sales. Moreover, the centre also has a trendy rooftop bar, with a kitschy beach theme.

Potsdamer Platz Arkaden

The glass-roofed Potsdamer Platz Arkaden is home to a huge range of shops and product over three floors. The 130 shops offer fashion, accessories, footwear, stationery, eyewear and much more. Additionally, the shopping experience has a range of restaurants, cafes and bistros, so tired shoppers can rest their feet and recharge.
