What's On This Weekend In Berlin | 17-19 June

Updated: 23 June 2016
Like the many idiosyncrasies that shape each human being, Berlin is a complex city. There is a spectrum of variable adjectives used to comprise this urban playground. But there are always a few indelible staples that come to mind across the board. Berlin is a city of lively electronic music, of edible experiments, of unprecedented diversity and languor. We did our best to amalgamate a list of weekend activities which highlight the very qualifiers of this illustrious city. Think art galleries that bend the cortex, food that makes you weak-kneed and sonic satisfaction that blurs time. Yes, it’s a very Berlin weekend.

FRIDAY 17 June

MUSIC   |   Patterns Of Perception

Opal collective puts together some heavy hitters on this night dedicated to the realm of deep techno and all-around good vibes.

SATURDAY 18 June

PARTY   |   Bunker Rave

So maybe we can’t party like it’s 1999, mostly because it’s 2016, but it’s still possible to immerse into the remnants of rave culture in Berlin.

OUTSIDE   |   Picnic

It’s June, what are you doing indoors? Berlin’s multitude of green spaces needs some patronage, and don’t forget your picnic basket.

SUNDAY 19 June

OUTSIDE   |   Velothon Marathon

Cyclists at all levels can enjoy and partake in this citywide marathon. It’s where cycling meets sightseeing.

CULTURE   |   Eatalian Food Week (Last Chance)

The line ‘That’s Amore’ was probably referring to a perfectly crafted pizza. This fest will give you even more reasons to fall in love with authentic Italian food.

FOOD   |   Breakfast & Vinyl

It’s that time of the month – go crate digging with some Frühstück in hand at Markethalle Neun, one year anniversary edition.
