The big issue in German cities is housing: for many, it is becoming increasingly too expensive, and this is a crisis that has radically changed how we live in and experience the city. A countermovement started the House of Hope, and this team at Theatrediscounter tackles the pressing questions of gentrification, scarce housing, accommodating refugees, and soaring property prices. A documentary theater piece, House of Hope will be presented by the new loft apartments in the Theaterdiscounter building — for Klosterstraße, a residential tower is designed as a home for everyone. Head to the theatre for a night that blends video, art and performance. This event is in German.
