Breaking Boundaries : Gorilla Girls & Beuys

Picture of Brienne Pierce
Updated: 30 June 2016
It’s hard to pigeonhole exactly what this performance is, and that’s exactly what we love about it. It’s partly a light installation and partly a dance. It plays on both movement and light to transcend meaning, which echoes back to the philosophy of the collective in general. The duo Christel Brink-Przygodda, choreographer and visual artist, and Phil Veyrunes, visual artist and lighting designer, yearn to overcome the boundaries of their concepts and often collaborate the very limitations of singular mediums by blending them. After the performance, the audience is invited to walk through the installation. For those looking to bend their expectations, don’t miss this performance at Acker Stadt Palast.

📅 July 1st-2nd, 8 pm

📍 Acker Stadt Palast Ackerstraße 169, 10115 Berlin, Germany
