Berlinale 2017: The Lost City of Z

Picture of Culture Trip
Updated: 16 February 2017
Culture Trip attended the The Lost City of Z premiere at the annual Berlinale Film Festival. We spoke to members of the audience after the premiere.

The Lost City of Z tells the true story of Colonel Percival Fawcett, a British explorer who went missing in the 1920s while searching for ‘Z’, a mysterious city in the Amazon. The film centres around his passion to discover the previously unknown and advanced civilizations living in the depths of the Amazon. Accompanying Fawcett (played by Sons of Anarchy’s Charlie Hunnam) is wife Nina (Sienna Miller) and trusted companion Corporal Henry Costin (Robert Pattinson).

BAFTAs 2017 Rising Star Tom Holland also makes an appearance as Fawcett’s son, Jack Fawcett.

The film features some truly breathtaking locations, which in turn makes us ask the question: Where does The Lost City of Z make you want to travel to?
