The Kakheti Region is one of the most frequently visited areas of Georgia, mainly because of its qvevri winemaking. However, Kakheti also boasts historical sights and beautiful towns like Telavi and Sighnaghi, as well as the gorgeous Lagodekhi National Park for those who love hiking and camping. In this guide, we pinpoint some of the best hotels in the region, guaranteeing a comfortable stay.

1. Ambassadori Kachreti Golf Resort

Ambassadori Kachreti Golf Resort is the only golf hotel in the country. Each room features a classic-style interior and a minibar, as well as all the necessary items for a pleasant stay. The restaurant is decorated with wooden beams and stone accents and offers the best of Georgian cuisine, as well as local wines and other refreshments at the bar. To complete your stay, there is also an outdoor swimming pool, table tennis rooms, and a tennis court, as well as the golfing area.

2. Royal Batoni

Royal Batoni is located in Kvareli and overlooks Ilia Lake. The hotel offers an outdoor pool, sun terrace and a restaurant serving both local and European cuisine. The design of the hotel is a combination of the old and the modern, with Georgian carpets hanging from railings on each floor.

3. Savaneti Hotel

Savaneti Hotel is one of the great accommodation options in Telavi, with an outdoor pool, spa facilities such as a sauna and fitness center, and an on-site restaurant. The rooms have views over the mountains, the courtyard, or the pool, while some have a balcony for you to sit down and relax after a sightseeing trip through the region.
