Updated: 9 February 2017
The 18th arrondissement is arguably the French capital’s liveliest district. To the north and center of the city, there are thousands of bars, cafés, and restaurants in and around its main focal point of Montmartre. It’s also mostly within walking distance of Gare du Nord, which connects you directly to Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports. Fortunately for the traveler on a budget, it also has many unique and good value hostels to meet all needs and tastes. We’ve chosen the eight best of these to make planning your next trip to Paris all the easier.
