Animal Kitchen dances at the crossroads of savage and experimental. After two years of wandering the city’s concert halls and music festivals, these street food kids have finally settled at Point Éphémere. The group’s original project was founding Animal Records, an electronic music label. But although they have moved from the soundstudio to the kitchen, they continue to infuse their offerings with a musical vibrancy. Their tapas include wasabi beef meatballs with red onion and Thai coriander, tacos served with spicy yuzu-guacamole, and sweet potato fries touched with paprika and dipped in honey mustard. Perfect festival – or Friday – fare.
