As part of the celebrations, the Royal Castle Stage will now host The Starlit Princess Waltz, in which a host of Disney princesses, including Belle, Cinderella, Aurora and Snow White, throw a majestic ball to celebrate their 25 years in style.
With new floats and new music, new costumes and choreography more extravagant than before, the famous Disney Parade will dazzle visitors in a whirlwind of joy, laughter, emotions and colour. The thrills even include a spectacular new fire-breathing dragon, as well as enhanced Mickey characters, princes and princesses and mythical creatures.
One particular gem in honour of this 25th anniversary season is the brand-new attraction Star Tours: The Adventures Continue, which whirls guests away on an action-packed intergalactic 3D voyage. With more than 70 different mission combinations, you’ll travel to the exotic worlds of Jakku, Hoth and Tatooine, and you can take a trip to the Death Star and beyond.
Based on the popular new Star Wars films and with impressive all-new special effects, you’ll get the chance to interact with larger-than-life characters from throughout the Star Wars saga. It’s a thrilling attraction in which every destination offers unique surprises.
You can also gaze in awe at the Sleeping Beauty Castle when Mickey leads you through a dazzling new Disney Illuminations extravaganza. Magnificent fireworks, incredible light projections and stunning special effects bring classic Disney tales and new stories to life, including Star Wars, Frozen, Pirates of the Caribbean and Beauty and the Beast.
The Marvel Super Heroes will also be appearing, with shows and interactive experiences of truly awesome proportions. Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, Star-Lord, Gamora and Spider-Man drop by from June 10, a few weeks after the cinema release of the highly anticipated Avengers: Infinity War, rounding off the 25th-anniversary celebrations in style.
