Mahler’s 4th symphony is one of his most sunny, jovial oeuvres that will take you on a journey through Alpine prairies and back into childhood. This was one of Daniele Gatti’s first concerts back when he had started his role as the Orchestra’s director in December 2006. Ten years later, before bidding adieu to the National Orchestra, Gatti has chosen to direct, once more, Mahler’s 4th symphony along with soprano Camilla Tilling who is at the summit of her career. This extremely symbolic and touching farewell will be a night that all music lovers won’t forget!
