The 10 Best Restaurants For Business Meetings In Paris

Picture of Paul McQueen
Updated: 9 February 2017
As anyone who has been here for more than a long weekend knows, Paris is about a lot more than fun, games, and taking selfies in front of the Eiffel Tower. Some serious work gets done in this town. Paris has a workforce of 5.4 million people out doing business to the tune of 690 billion euros each year, making it the fifth largest urban economy in the world behind Tokyo, New York, Los Angeles and Seoul. And what keeps all those engines running? The fantastic food, of course. Below you’ll find ten of the best restaurants in the city for wining and dining clients, brainstorming with your team or having a solo working lunch.

Les Climats

Les Climats is the place to go if you wish to wine and dine your clients in style. The restaurant, which received its first Michelin star in February 2015, has nearly 20,000 bottles of Burgundy wine in its cellars, representing some 281 wine growers, with 3,684 bottles of red and 594 white ready to go on a daily basis. If that amount of fine wine can’t lubricate a negotiation, nothing will. The restaurant can also be rearranged to accommodate large parties. Lunch can also be taken onto the terrace.

Le Chemise

With a name like Le Chemise (the shirt), it seems like this place was made for the working lunch crowd. The large leather chairs and booths enable you to do business with a client in comfort or get into a lengthy strategy chat with a colleague away from the distractions of the office. The cuisine is French but with exotic flavors mixed in for good measure. It’s also useful to know that the menu changes every six weeks so it’s a great place to come back to time and time again without ever getting bored.

Open Monday to Friday, 12:00pm – 2:00pm and 7:00pm – 10:00pm.

La Scène

Another Michelin-starred restaurant on our list, La Scène makes an excellent venue for corporate entertainment (ideally, of course, on an expense account) either at lunch or dinner. And, naturally for a restaurant of this stature, the food speaks for itself.
