Many things make Paris wonderful but the Seine is undoubtedly one of its best features. Staying on a houseboat on the river is a totally unique way to experience the city. This luxury péniche, which stretches to an impressive 280 square meters, is moored at Asnières-sur-Seine, a small private port at the gates of Paris. You can’t stay much more centrally than at this bright and spacious apartment on the Rue du Louvre. It is just steps from the world’s largest and favorite museum and is in a traditional Parisian apartment building, what the locals would consider as being ‘de standing’.
