A delightful discovery, the Au Beaune’Heur wine bar, as hinted in the name, is an invitation to plunge into the best of Burgundy. Friendly and well-informed staff can guide you along the extensive and reasonably priced wine list, the ‘wine pick of the day’ and even tempt you with a delicious charcuterie and cheese board to pair with your wine explorations.
New to the mythical brasserie Les Sports, on the main street Rue Saint Jean, is the expansion of two new spaces: a VIP cocktail bar and a wine bar that offers a selection of more than 48 wines by the glass – thanks to a vacuum and nitrogen system that keeps the wine in the bottle from becoming in contact with air after opening, lengthening its life.
You can’t beat the view in any of the beach bars in Le Touquet, and O’Safran is no exception. Wiggling your toes in the sand, reclining on a beach chair and watch the sunset while you sip a chilled rosé or a refreshing flute of champagne. The wine list is not extensive, but well curated with reasonable prices… and the setting is simply unbeatable.
