Galerie Neel was established in 1992 on Cannes’ rue d’Antibes, where you’ll find many of the city’s chicest and most trendy boutiques. The gallery covers a wide gamut of artwork including paintings, sculptures and ceramics across genres as far-ranging as impressionism, surrealism, pop art and street art. The family-run business also holds art workshops for kids.

Galerie Arista

Art Gallery

Galerie Arista showcases a wide variety of Western contemporary and traditional African art; it is as well-known for its African totems as it is for its contemporary paintings, sculptures and photographs. In over 150 metres of floor space, over three rooms, you’ll find an eclectic range of avant-garde artwork, both for the collector and for the amateur. Call to check the gallery’s opening times as they change throughout the season.

José Louis Albertini opened his first gallery in New York in 1984, followed by this one just outside Cannes in 1990. He loves to encourage a new generation of artists, particularly from the Mediterranean scene, and since 2002, all of the exhibitions here have been accompanied by an educational program for elementary schools. It’s one of the oldest contemporary art galleries in the area and has held over 200 shows for emerging artists as well as household names.

Galerie MC

Art Gallery

The gallery of Michelle Champetier (MC) is specifically dedicated to works of art made on paper (prints, lithographs, engravings, screen prints, drawings, posters or illustrated books). The gallery has an amazing array of (reasonably) affordable signed prints and drawings by some of the masters, such as Salvador Dalí. At any given time, they might have about 800 for sale, which they rotate on their website. The website also offers great insight into some of their favourite artists and their work.
